The American superhero flick Madame Web just came out. The movie hit theatres on February 14, 2024.

Madame Web deviates from the usual genre by detailing the mysterious backstory of one of Marvel Publishing’s most mysterious heroines in a stand-alone volume.

Madame Web was one of the less costly movies from the SSU, with a budget of less than $100 million, according to Variety.

According to tracking, Madame Web is projecting a six-day launch in the $25 million range, while Sony is treading carefully by sticking with $22 million.

Madame Web reportedly made $5 million to $5.5 million on Valentine’s Day, according to Deadline.

Madame Web explores the mysterious backstory of Cassandra Web, a paramedic in Manhattan with potential clairvoyant abilities.

The film delves into her connection to three young women and her transformation into the enigmatic figure.

Production Companies Columbia Pictures, Di Bonaventura Pictures, Marvel Entertainment

The film's villain, Tahar Rahim's Ezekiel Sims, dons a black Spider suit. He may not be Venom, but he appears to be yet another Spider-Man villain who is underappreciated.
